These traits result in plants with strong inherent protection to insect pests, particularly lepidoptera species, with reduced use of insecticides, as well as greater flexibility in weed management.
Patriarch is a bicolor supersweet that sets a robust ear with excellent tip-fill and outstanding kernel color and tenderness. Ears are protected by a dark green husk, as well as AttributePlus level of lepidopteran protection, and a strong disease package. High resistance to Rust (Rp1-G) and intermediate resistance to NCLB and MDMV.
