Description:
Lyric Chopin performed by Collins, winner of the Clara Haskil Competition. Master musician Fingin Collins' first recording for the Claves label in many years is a Chopin album. Collins was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1977, and since winning the Clara Haskil Competition in 1999, he has been steadily advancing his career. Fingin, who has captivated audiences with her careful touch and rich expressiveness, has participated in the first (50 2601) and third (50 2806) of a series of recordings of Schumann's complete works for solo piano on the Claves label, both of which have been highly acclaimed. Both recordings have been highly acclaimed, and now, at the age of 40, she has finally taken up the challenge of recording Chopin's works. The expectations are high for Collins' Chopin, played with a beautiful touch and attention to detail. King International Inc.
