Rossum Electro-Music's Panharmonium is an effects module that analyzes the spectral content of each incoming audio signal to operate an oscillator bank of up to 33 voices. From the single oscillator wave to drum tracks to the complete mix including vocals, the Panharmonium tracks down every little detail and modifies it with vibrant sound clusters, embedded arpeggios, drones and harmonic tapestries. A constant interaction between the audio material and the controls promises new and sometimes unheard results.
Through the numerous CV inputs, the module comes to life and opens up for complete. Even clock-synchronous changes are planned. If you include other modules such as an envelope follower and BPM-synchronous LFOs, it becomes really exciting. Using the Freeze button, to which twelve memory locations are subordinated, a very short moment of the incoming audio signal can be captured. This forms the basis for a new basic tone, which can be changed using the knob. On twelve further memory locations, any settings of the Panharmonium can be recorded and recalled.
